Message from the CEO
The year is coming to an end and the Christmas holidays are approaching. Mälarplast can sum up a strong year despite the ongoing pandemic with side effects such as disruptions in the material and supply chains.
Like everyone else, we have been strongly affected by the sharply increased costs of plastic raw materials and energy - two of our most cost-driving inputs. Through active work together with our suppliers and customers, we have been able to mitigate the effects of market disruptions.
Most indications are that the turbulence will continue well into next year. It is gratifying that during the year we had a very large influx of new projects. The number of tools that have been developed or are being developed is at an all-time high, which means that we are confidently looking forward to another year of growth for our business.
Mälarplast closes during the holidays and our staff now gets a well-deserved weekend rest. We wish our customers and partners a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
