Product development
We are happy to be involved in product development from an early stage in order to contribute our expertise in plastic materials and design. It is possible to save a lot of time and money by taking the possibilities and limitations offered by plastic into account at an early stage.
We offer CAD and construction in Solidworks, where our specialist skills in polymeric materials provide customers with the best options for design and choice of materials. Through Solidworks Plastics, we can also carry out virtual analyses of processes such as mould filling, an excellent addition to the design phase. With the press of a button, we can then print out prototypes on our 3-D printer.
Our extensive network of experienced and talented designers, prototype manufacturers and toolmakers both locally and in low-cost countries make up a strong support system throughout the development phase. We take on your project in its entirety to ensure that you get a cost-optimal and reliable service!

Our services
Mälarplast specialises in production runs of at least 1,000 components and upwards. For smaller quantities we usually turn to specialised prototype manufacturers.
