We are investing in sustainability
Mälarplast strives to be at the forefront on issues involving the environment, sustainability and innovation. It is for this reason that we are involved in a number of ongoing projects focusing on plastic and the environment. These include getting involved in the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency’s work to develop a roadmap for the sustainable use of plastic.
Locally, Mälarplast’s CEO, Peter Wall, takes part in a reference group that is working on the development of the Municipality of Eskilstuna’s Climate Plan 2045.

Our history
Mälarplast originated with Aktiebolaget Pollobak, which was set up in Eskilstuna, Sweden, at the beginning of the 1970s. Some of our customers have been with us for most of our journey that began with the new start-up.
