Informative mathematics workshop for Djurgårdsskolan's 9th graders
Smartmatte is a reality-based math book with the aim of showing students that math is fun and important and that it is everywhere in society, while they get an insight into the local business community with different workplaces and professions.
In November, Mälarplast held a math workshop together with Djurgårdsskolan's 9th graders. The math examples were taken from Mälarplast and the plastics industry's everyday life and were a fun and exciting day for everyone involved.
The nine-graders have not had the opportunity to get out on PRAO or internship due to the pandemic, so it was extra fun to be able to give examples from working life on why you need to learn count!
